Ms. Sarah Wright
I am extremely excited to be a 2nd grade teacher here at Grove Valley Elementary! I recently graduated from Oklahoma State University with a degree in Elementary Education (Go Pokes!). I have a passion for working with children, and believe they are our future. I have a Shetland Sheepdog named Ace, and he is my life. For as long as I can remember, we have had Shetland Sheepdogs in the family. I am originally from Edmond, Oklahoma, and attended Edmond Memorial High School. Even though I have grown up in Edmond my whole life, my entire family is from Illinois. I come from a big family of teachers who I have learned a lot from.

I have had many experiences in the field of education, including teaching my own 1st grade classroom at Central Elementary School. One thing I have taken away from all of my experiences is that our children are our future. They mean the world to me, and I will do anything I can to help each one of your little ones succeed. I love working with and getting to know each and every one of their unique selves, and making sure their goals are met along their journey. Thank you for giving me the privilege to meet your child; we are going to ROCK Second Grade!

Some of my favorite things are: Family, dogs, chai tea lattes from Starbucks, music, hiking catching up with friends, reading, and coffee.

I am looking forward to having an outstanding year with your outstanding Second Graders! Go Antlers!
